About Teena

All watercolor artwork on this website is by Teena Arnold.  Teena is a native Oklahoma watercolor artist. Her artistic life began at a young age when her mother noticed how she applied mustard to her corn dog. She has taken private lessons but is primarily self-taught. She has worked with clay, glass, and silk. Her artwork is in many private residences from California to New York and is often experienced as a visual aspect of worship at South Grand Lake Christian Church  (Disciples of Christ).

Come As You Are

When you worship with us, come as you are. This means no judgements.

Each of us is who we are, and we accept one another as we are.

Come as you are means casual and comfortable.

We don’t dress to impress – jeans, khakis, flannel, or polyester all fit right in at the lake.

You will be welcomed warmly. No one is a stranger in this church family.

South Grand Lake Christian Church (DOC) is located near Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees and within the Cherokee Nation. For thousands of years Indigenous people have walked this land. We acknowledge their stewardship of creation throughout the ages. These prayers offered in Cherokee and English honor this heritage.

Pray Together

Prayer is a vital part of life in community.

Jesus prayed and encouraged his disciples to pray.

The Prayer Wall is provided for the giving and receiving of support.

You are invited to express your joys and concerns as you share what is on your heart.

Worship Together

The community gathers in a physical and online space Sunday at 9:50 for prayer,

scriptural reflection, song and communion.

All are welcome at the Lord’s Table as the bread and cup are shared each week.

If you cannot be here in person and want to worship online please use this link to the

live Broadcast Page which includes past services.

Rev. Gina Jackson

Senior Pastor

Please take a minute to view the welcome video.

Each week the Pastor's homily is recorded. If you missed last week's service or if you want to see her message again you will find it here.

Anchored in the way of Jesus, we celebrate God’s diverse creation.

We are a casual and compassionate community where all are welcome.

Welcome!
